IGNIFI ‘highly commended’ at the 2026 Veterinary Marketing Association Awards.

On Friday, Group Account Director, Sarah Thompson, and Digital Engagement Manager, Laura Smith attended the 2026 Veterinary Marketing Association (VMA) Awards in London. We are thrilled to announce that IGNIFI were ‘highly commended’ in the social campaign category.

The 2026 Veterinary Marketing Association Awards.

Our accolade at this year's awards ceremony was in recognition of our work alongside StreetVet supporting their Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign. StreetVet is a charity which changes the lives of people experiencing homelessness and their pets by offering free veterinary care. The campaign aimed to raise at least £60,000 during the Big Give Christmas Challenge by engaging corporate partners, existing donors and the wider public. With the Big Give matching donations up to £30,000, every contribution had twice the impact, helping to support the pets of people experiencing homelessness.

A targeted social media campaign launched on 2nd December, centred on “Giving the Gift of Companionship.” It began with a flagship video sharing the full StreetVet story, followed by daily posts running through to the campaign’s close on 9th December. This resulted in the £60,000 target exceeded within the campaign window with a total donation amount of £65,332. You can find out more about the campaign here.

Not only were IGNIFI proud to support such a meaningful campaign we were delighted to come away with a ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Social Campaign’ category. This award is for the company or veterinary practice that has delivered an innovative social media campaign using one or more social channel.

The VMA Awards continue to highlight how quickly the animal health sector is evolving. From increasingly integrated, multi-channel campaigns to the growing influence of digital and AI-led engagement, this year’s entries reflected a sector under pressure to communicate more clearly, respond faster, and deliver measurable impact for both vets and animal owners.

The ‘International Marketing Campaign’ category in particular showcased how global consistency and local relevance are becoming essential as animal health companies operate across more complex, interconnected markets.

Events like this aren't just about recognition; they're a useful barometer for where the industry is heading. They bring together agencies, pharma, practices and service providers, reinforcing the collaboration that underpins progress across animal health marketing.

Congratulations to all the 2026 nominees and winners.
