In this blog, we’re introducing the newest addition to the IGNIFI team, Designer John Mares. We discuss his previous experience along with the skillset and experience he brings both to IGNIFI and to our clients.
What will a new designer mean for the IGNIFI team?
Not only are we championing the personal development of our existing staff but we’re expanding the IGNIFI team with a number of positions to support our growth over this next year and beyond.
Since 2020 we have continued to see an increase in demand from clients for creative assets in a digital format. To continue to support our clients with these requests and to stay ahead of the trends in our industry, it is important that our ideas and execution teams can expertly produce materials which show an appreciation for technical design requirements, whilst remaining compliant with human and animal health industry regulations.
John will provide an extra resource to help our design team meet a growing number of creative projects from our clients, whilst also supporting our digital team to ensure all design work considers the end user and the digital format it is intended for.
About John
With over 12 years design experience and a Level 3 NVQ in Graphic Design, John joins IGNIFI from PMI Creative. In his time with the company, he spent 12 years developing his career, starting as a design apprentice, and working his way up to the role of Senior Graphic Designer where he managed a small design team.
In his previous role, John worked on projects across a variety of industries, including in the medical and healthcare sectors. John is confident managing design accounts of large clients and producing a wide range of marketing materials including print and digital assets such as websites and social media graphics.
We are delighted to welcome John to the IGNIFI team and feel his experience will very much strengthen the creative resource and expertise we can offer our healthcare clients.

Looking to the future
John was the ideal candidate to join our talented, close-knit team of designers and strengthens our collective creative design and digital capabilities even further. This should benefit the level of service and solutions we offer to our clients, which is always at the forefront of everything we do here at IGNIFI.
As part of our growth plans for 2022, we are actively recruiting for a number of other vacancies which are currently live and are hoping to announce even more new recruits joining the IGNIFI team over the coming months.
