We are pleased to announce the addition of Charlotte Tinmouth to the IGNIFI team as a Medical Account Executive. In this blog, we find out more about Charlotte’s journey to IGNIFI, and how we are supporting a range of career pathways.

A unique route to IGNIFI

Charlotte, who has recently completed her second year of a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Sheffield, has been appointed for a one-year work placement at IGNIFI, working within the Client Services team. She introduced herself to us after attending the Bionow careers fair earlier this year. The event gave Charlotte an idea of careers available post-graduation within the life sciences industry and sparked her interest in healthcare marketing.

IGNIFI’s presentation at the event was led by Senior Account Manager and Biomedical Science graduate Ellie Gratton. Ellie highlighted the opportunities for life sciences students to use their knowledge in an alternative sector such as healthcare marketing, discussing her own career progression from Biomedical Science graduate to Senior Account Manager. Charlotte was inspired by Ellie’s journey and was keen to learn more about how she could use her scientific knowledge and skills whilst developing an understanding of healthcare marketing in an agency environment.

Charlotte’s IGNIFI experience so far

After visiting IGNIFI and meeting the team, Charlotte was keen to become familiarised with our projects and get to grips with the ins and outs of working in a fast-paced marketing agency. As a Medical Account Executive, her role involves contributing to projects through copywriting, proofreading and general support to the Client Services team.

Alongside these responsibilities, Charlotte has also been learning more about Veeva, a global software used within the life sciences industry. Since gaining certification in Veeva, Charlotte has been providing support on these projects, whilst building expertise in medical copywriting through her involvement in client content development tasks.

As Charlotte continues to expand her knowledge of our client brands and becomes experienced in the many aspects of account management, we hope that she will continue to be an asset the team. In particular, she is keen to further hone her medical copywriting skills with the expert help of Senior Medical Account Manager Laura Powell.

“This appointment demonstrates our commitment to identifying and developing talent for the future, which aligns with our growth strategy. The Bionow Careers Fair gave us the opportunity to showcase a range of unique role options for consideration by an audience at a key stage of their educational journey.”

– John Horn, Managing Director
