Our talented creatives and designers have honed their talents working with our healthcare clients, but they also like to dazzle us with their artistic flair during their downtime.

This year, our Senior Creative, Marc Jeffrey, had his artwork selected to appear in the Baltic Open Submission exhibition, chosen from a pool of more than 1,400 submissions.

Baltic Open Submission 2024

This is a local exhibition involving over 100 artists and makers based in the North East of England. Artworks were selected from over 1400 submissions by an expert panel and were displayed from March – September 2024 in the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. The substantial number of entries submitted were a testament to the exciting variety of artistic practice taking place across the region. Showcasing painting, sculpture, photography, video and more, the exhibition featured work by established artists who have been making throughout their lifetime, as well as self-taught creatives who are just beginning.

Marc’s submission

Marc’s submission titled ‘Ivan’, is a portrait of his brother.

“I caught Ivan after a hard day’s work, still wearing his hi-visibility jacket, deep in thought. It was a look I have witnessed countless times over the years and I knew I had to record it on canvas.”
