In our latest ‘Meet the Team’ blog, we’re excited to introduce you to our Digital Designer, Beth Clayton. In this blog we explore Beth’s digital expertise and her role at IGNIFI.

Engaging digital experiences

Beth’s digital career took flight when she chose to study for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology. This introduced her to various media processes and helped her develop fundamental technical, design, and research skills for creative media production.

She then went on to gain a BA(Hons) in Interaction Design at Northumbria University. Beth developed a strong foundation in industry-standard design tools and practices for developing engaging digital experiences and products across a range of platforms and devices. This included exposure to digital processes such as, interface design (UI), user experience (UX), data visualisation and design for virtual or mixed reality.

Prior to joining IGNIFI, Beth worked as a Multimedia Designer at a small website design agency. This experience allowed her to build her project management skills and engage directly with clients on a variety of projects, such as web development, brand design, social media, and email marketing.

Whilst working at a smaller agency, Beth was able to immerse herself in many client projects from inception to completion, which enabled her to develop flexible and efficient work practices.

eLearning expertise

Since joining the IGNIFI team in March 2023, Beth has quickly proven to be an indispensable part of our Digital Team. In her position as Digital Designer, she has partnered with a diverse range of life science client brands across multiple therapy areas, crafting digital design solutions for different channels and formats.

On a day-to-day basis, Beth uses her digital design expertise across a wide range of client projects. This includes the development of interactive eLearning modules utilising Articulate Storyline 360. She also supports our clients to produce user-friendly training packages which contain both high end PowerPoint Presentations and Interactive PDFs. Beth is proficient in Veeva and collaborates with other members of our Digital Team on the design and development of Veeva closed-loop marketing (CLM) presentations.

Beth has also been actively involved in many client website development initiatives, including the creation of two new sites for a leading global brand in the animal health industry. Internally, she is essential in overseeing the maintenance of our current website and is a key member of the project team overseeing the development of a new IGNIFI site.
