As Medical Copywriter, you will work within a dynamic team small enough to take full autonomy yet large enough to work on internationally significant projects. Developing and delivering high level medical copywriting services across IGNIFI’s range of clients.

The Role.

Responsibilities will include:

Experienced enough to hit the ground running, but with room to grow and develop as part of our team, you should be prepared to embrace a wide variety of work, researching, originating and editing copy across a range of clients and delivering to multiple agreed deadlines.

Developing a deep understanding of client data, products and therapy areas, convert/adapt into key messages and insightful, accurate copy that resonate with a range of different audiences (healthcare professionals and consumer).

Develop creative and technical content across a varied portfolio, creating copy across multiple channels, including adverts, e-detailers, detail aids, leave pieces, brochures, conference materials, direct mail, emailers, websites, apps and training materials.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and service to encourage client retention.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have the following relevant experience:

Education to degree standard in a medical/life sciences discipline

At least two years’ experience writing for a healthcare agency, pharma company or similar

Able to write confidently and accurately from original research papers as well as adapt scientific-led content from an international to UK-appropriate version

Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, deadlines and estimating of time required

A positive, pro-active attitude and ability to work well as part of a growing team

Good presentation skills

Ability to integrate scientific and technical understanding with commercial objectives

High standard of oral and written English and excellent communication skills

Computer literacy with main MS Office software

Desirable experience and qualifications:

Veeva literate and ABPI qualified
