The Company

IGNIFI is an independent creative, digital and design advertising agency that sparks and sustains successful brands for high-profile clients in the healthcare sector and are looking to expand our team with a new creative and motivated Designer.

Here at IGNIFI we specialise in human and animal health sectors. Working with major global brands, we develop marketing communications targeting healthcare professionals, payers, influencers, patients and consumers.

As our Designer, you will report into our Digital Director – Craig, within our perfectly formed team which is small enough to take full autonomy yet large enough to work on internationally significant projects. Initiating and developing creative design solutions that are delivered to the highest quality standards.

The Role

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Working to IGNIFI/customer brief to produce effective and appropriate design solutions
  • Advising on all technical aspects of design projects
  • Maintaining the highest level of proficiency in the use of appropriate software programmes, keeping up to date with technical and design industry developments (i.e. digital)
  • Liaising with other team members to manage and influence the quality of all design solutions
  • Ensuring a full awareness of the allocated budget and deadline delivery expectations
  • Working with the Ideas/Creative Team to develop design materials for client pitching/presentation purposes to a high standard, presenting internally the design solutions developed

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will have the following relevant experience:

  • The ability to demonstrate graphic design talent across a range of media and business and consumer audiences
  • A graduate/degree level education, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a design agency environment
  • The following technical skills: advanced use of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and other Adobe Suite apps); advanced use of Mac OS
  • Excellent communication skills in order to present verbally and visually to both the Account Manager and/or clients
  • The following professional qualities: attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines and estimate time required, a high level of motivation, the ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve
  • An up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in digital design and software
  • A portfolio that demonstrates varied background in different aspects of digital design

Experience/ qualifications in the following are desirable:

  • HTML and CSS
  • E-learning module development
  • 3D model applications (blender/cinema 4D etc)
  • User experience/interface best practice
  • Animation/video editing and production
